Well, i sincerery hope we're getting an early spring this year. It has been a while since we saw as mutch snow in my town! WHo's talking about global warming ? Most cities snow dumps are overfilled and some people are really scratching their heads to find a spot to put the snow they remove from their driveway. Remember Fort Guillaume ? Well what ever is left of it is burried under a few more foot of snow! I sincery doubt i'll be swining the coil before a while. If all the snow melts rapidly, well i wouldn't like to live o a river shore !

Here is a look at the street near my home... nice houses he ?... oh of course, you can't see mutch of them !

Look at the pile near that street corner... wonder if the guy is hand shoveling the snow.... NOT! Almost higher than the second floor of the condominium block !

Spring thaw is gonna be a catastrophe for folks downstream.
Hope they start packin up, now!

I'm sorry but as a positive note all the stores now have Easter stuff on display....... so spring is near.... Happy hunting ... Robert from 78 degree southern california ...

She's been reading the weather reports and is not at all anxious to be going back to her hometown for a week. Forrtunately, she'll be in meetings indoors for most of the time there. 3 years in Bermuda and she catches a chill when it dips below 60 degrees F, she actually had to borrow a winter coat from a friend as we sold them when we moved south.
Spring will be in Canada soon, even sooner for you Martin. How thin does the ice have to get before you get back in the water? 2" Thick?? You are one of the Most Extreme Water Hunters I know.:super::super:

Cheers,

BDA:cool:

Even if we could break the ice, water level will be so high in spring, i'll be hunting what used to be dry sand area... rather pointless at the time. Usually, spring time is the season for relic hunting for me and my buddy luke. The weeds are down and the ground has maximum conductivity... i usually only go back in the water mutch later.

I'd forgotten about that, Martin. A short season gets a little short which makes the quality and quantity of your finds that much better. As always, I look forward to your next post with loot in it.

Bon Chance,

BDA:cool:

Maybe you can carve out a tunnel from one of those snow mountains and make a cave for
the "Detector Mobile". :ninja: :detecting:
