Went back to the old football field today for a short hunt, Found my first Indian Head  I was hunting a area behind the bleachers across the field, it tough hunting, grass hasn't been mowed and about 4 to 6 inches tall when I got a hit, it was a good 5 inches down below that, I didn't know what it was at first, Looking at it I thought it was a wheat, I dump my finds on the table and my wife ask what did you find today?, I said not much but found a wheat cent, she's picking up the coins and looking at them and said this is not a wheat, I said yes it is, she said no it's not :starwars: the fight started, after I cleaned it up a bit she was right :ranting: Again!!!

found a old skull ring but it look like the mower hit it  also found a Canadian cent. and lots of fun today :detecting:

I once found a Indian penny, in fact it was last summer, at what I suspect was and old ball-field. I think it was a old farm field before that. Anyway I told my son of the find and back we went several days later. 3 feet along the third base line out off bounds, would you know it he pulled out a 1824 or 1823 large cent can't remember. You just never know. From my experience once you find a old coin there's probable a few more. Go back !!!

Congrats of your finds and fun. I am new to mding and my 350, so I and still trying to learn the md. I went to a real trashy area today that whipped me pretty good!

Nice finds. I was hoping to get out with my new used ace 250 but ended up hauling/splitting wood all day. Now Im beat. Hopefully get out tomorrow!
