Starting to swing in a friends house that has been in his family since the day the house was built circa 1830 . I will continue to add to this page as I find more stuff . Going to make a nice display box to mount in his house when we are finished . Big dream is to recover something from the civil war era :starwars: which is his love . First 2 finds 1911 immaculate barber dime , and my first silver spoon ! Hallmarked W*KING on back but can not locate a date anywhere on internet so far . Also had the letter B inscribed at the top of the handle . Hope you enjoy this post ! HH keep swinging low and slow !

Awesome! what a beautiful looking dime

Great news about that spoon ! Walter King (1792-1855) matches the hallmark on the back of the handle ! :clapping: that means that spoon is 160-195 years old depending when it was made by him and his son King & Son which went out of business when walter passed away .

Went back to my friends house and started working the back yard . I found my first belt buckle . Not familiar with stamps or markings but here is the one on the back . Looking to find a time era on this items if anyone can ID it . Thanks for looking and as always HH to you all .

not familiar with watches but would like to find a time frame on age , to determine who it belonged to in his family .

Quite a list of finds and the coin looks like a proof coin and nice find on the silver spoon.

This buckle is a Civil War Rollsbed Buckle . It is authentic and the same exact one is on display at a Fredricksburg Museum in Va. I am so happy for him , that he is holding a piece of history that he has spent his whole life reenacting year after year !
