BEER CAN RUN

I'm originally from lindenhurst L.I. new york, today i waited around all day for a job that never came in. around 3pm i hoped into my boat with the mini pulse and went out to beer can island which is out in front of apollo beach near mcdill air force base.lots of people go their on the weekend. wind was blowing and i had a time getting their, my boat is 14 ft jon boat with a 6 horse. found 26 cent a bullet caseing horse shoe,beer can off course , a piece of iron thats in the photo, nails , bottle caps,& tent posts.cant wait to go back and look some more ! , if you look @ the right of the island in the back ground hard to see is the city of tampa bay fl

Crackerjaun, nice pics. when I had my boat in Tampa I spent many hours at beer can island. You will need to get in the water at low tide around the south end of the Island. I filled my fuel tanks at the Apollo Beach marina, I know that area well. Thanks for the pics. brings back some good memories. Make sure you go out there after the July fourth Party. HH

I DONT HAVE AN UNDERWATER METAL DETECTOR RIGHT NOW BUT LOW TIDE ILL BE THEIR. WHATS FUNNY ABOUT BEER CAN IS ALL THE PEOPLE DRINK ON THE BEACH WHILE THE POLICE WATCH OUT IN THEIR BOATS AND BY THE END OF THE DAY THEY WAIT FOR THE POLICE TO PULL A BOAT OVER THEN EVERYBODY HOPS INTO THEIR BOATS AN HEAD BACK TO LAND ALL @ ONCE SO THEY DONT GET B.U.I.'S ...ITS' A LOT OF FUN THEIR
