Beeping Probe

When I use the Sun Ray probe on my XS I hit the Pinpoint button to go to DC. When I lay the probe down to do some digging the thing starts to beep until I press the pinpoint to go out of DC and than back to pinpoint. This happens every time. Am I doing something wrong?
 
Sorry about that first post. I hit the wrong button. My probe does that a lot also. I just figured it's the nature of the beast and have learned to live with it. I reset it as you say you do and go about my business. Sure is a great probe though. I use it on just about every recovery. HH-Coinshooter65
 
nope not really, it aint the probe its the explorer.. it detunes fairly quickly in pinpoint.. I dont even use it with the probe.. just leave it in disc
