The first yard that me and my hunting partner was at on Wed I found a 39 Merc and 2 wheat's. It only took about a 1 1/2 hrs to work that yard.
The second yard we didn't find a lot of older coins, but we did find a lot of other cool things and we was in that yard for the rest of the day, it was a good size yard. I found a 1895 IH, a Military pin, a Missouri tax token, 8 wheat's, a cap gun that is all in one piece and still works. I think that's a first, lol. I also found a clay marble, a Tootsie toy that's not in too good of shape and a makeup compact.
Today "Thur" we MD'ed a few more yards and boy was it a slow day, but I did manage to find a few keepers. When I found the 1916 Merc I had to say Oh Please a few times before I flipped it over too see that it didn't have a "D" mint mark. Maybe next time.
For anybody that wants to know, I was using the X-505 with the 10.5 DD 7.5 coil, in pattern 1 with 4 tones. GB was around 21 and sens was 19
Thanks for lookin
