Been working my butt off today

I am up in Roscommon again and Mary is coming up tonight. I have been installing edging along the Hastas I planted last year and finally got it finished. I put in a hundred feet of the stuff today and my butt is dragging.

I decided to go for a scooter ride through the woods to Durants Castle, along the river to see how high it was. It is a nice drive in the woods but that scooter just is not made for sand! There is a lot of sand back there.

I was coming back a differnt way and came across a Beaver pond that I was not aware of. I took some pictures but have not looked at them yet.

It started raining a little so I headed for home. When I pulled in the garage I turned off the motor and in the silence I heard a tap tap tap. I went and looked and I'll be danged if that robin is not still fighting his reflection in that window. I thought I had heard it earlier but ignored it. I didn't figure that sucker was so stupid that it had not given up in a WEEK!!:look::look:

Well I put the Beaver Pond Panorama together and am adding it to the post. The Gov has gotten so miserly with his picture size it is hard to make a panorama a decient size.

I am standing on the dam and you can see it on the right and also on the left of the picture. It is a pretty big one.

I gotta go out and trap some dang squirrels now :(

looks like a nice peaceful place. I used to specialise in "Brookies" in beaverdams, little out of the way places like that!

You folks live in a beautiful area. Like others, I wonder if there are fish in that beaver dam area. Thanks for posting the picture and information. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)
