I feel I find a few more coins on edge with no disc and DD coil on my M6. The VDI will jump but there's no mistaken the distinct coin sound. HH

ground signal (making it much easier to pass along or register a detected target)m and the DD coil can be of help, sometimes, in bad ground.

The Matrix M6 is a very good performer and if more folks will disregard the presets on it and other models, setting their discriminate level as low as they can tolerate, they would find a lot more of the 'iffy' targets that just sound better.

Way to go!

Been using the M6 with 0 disc, tone ID,and the 4".5x7" EXcelerator due to it's excellent target separation qualities and good depth at my trashy older sites and very happy with the results so far. Just can't imagine using a tone ID capable machine above foil - nickel disc except in the worst conditions for cherry pickin high coin tones.

I like to run my MXT where it just rejects the nails at 1.9 or 2 on disc. Rob
