Hello Betty.......no, unfortunately I don't think it's even close to safe right now, nor has it been for many years. I was there for the 3,000th anniversary of the city of Jeruselem, and the theme was "pray for the peace of Jeruselem". However, we all know that the day there is peace in Jeruselem, is the day that our Lord returns to enter the city through the Golden Gates. It was just such an awesome experience to walk where HE walked, and view all the places and things we learned about, and kneel at the sites of his birth, crucifixtion, and resurrection! And, oh...... Northern Israel and the Galilee area is in my opinion the most beautiful place on earth.
