Been thinking

I have been thinking about where the street sweepers dump. There has to be clad in the piles. Also I would think that the parks department picks up a lot of jewelry and coins when they mow. Where do they dump the clippings? Think that I will try to make friends with some of them. Just a thought.

I have a friend who did some work at a place where the Chicago Streets and Sans dumps their garbage from the beach cleaners and the "boys" have first dibs on any and all finds. He said after a big beach weekend they look like seagulls fighting over a dead fish when they dump the truck.

As owner of a street sweeper co (that does both municipal streets + private types shopping centers and such ), I can tell you without a doubt that you do NOT want to bother hunting the street sweeper debris/spoils. To the extent that .... yes ... they no doubt pick up stray clad ... it's still not worth your time . A beach cleaner machine or sewer cleaner truck .... maybe . But not a street sweeper .

And the slight vacuum effect of industrial lawn mowers is not enough to lift out coins and jewelry up.
