Been sick since coming back from Daytona :nopity: and since I didn't win any major prizes, :help: I haven't had any finds to post, so I thought

On Sunday after the hunt Ina and I went to the Starlight Diner for an early dinner. Here's Ina counting all her loot after the weekend. :hot:

I have another "interesting" picture of Ina, but the bidding is going to start pretty high if you want to see that one. (HEY, while the rest of my possee cleaned up winning some MAJOR prizes, I only found 50 $1 gold coins during the entire weekend hunt and only won $10 cash, a Bounty Hunter T-shirt, BH hat and BH finds apron. I've gotta make some of my money back SOMEHOW!)

Only kidding! It was a great weekend! Belle and Deyton and Ray and Lonna always put on a WORLD-CLASS hunt!!!

HH!

Hopefully this link will work and not be scrambled, but if it is, just go to www.google.com and plug in "whatchoo talkin' bout Willis" and the first hit is a YouTube reference to the sitcom, starring Gary Coleman, who regularly said, "Whatchoo talkin' bout, Willis" to his older brother. (They were adopted Afrian American kids in a wealthy white family.)

It was pretty standard lingo for much of the 80s and 90s. (Unfortunately, this clip doesn't get to the catch phrase until 3 minutes into it, but once you see it you'll probably realize you've heard it before.)

And NO, I'm not a TV freak, but it is a trivia item that a lot of Americans will remember.... am I right, forum posters?

Stacey, hope you are feeling better, thanks for all the pics. from before and this one with Ina and her riches. Sounds like you had a great time at Daytona. HH

Stacey, I nabbed a mens' nice (.330 oz) 10 K Ring down in Cocoa Beach the very next day. It's a Eagle on top of black onyx . I also got a heavy 925 silver bracelet (.725 oz) and a silver fertility ring (.200 oz), all in the same cut. Unfortunately it was 1.1/2 hours after low tide when I found the cut, and the waves started in. That made it impossible to dig any more without drowning. LOL. Just good luck and bad luck I guess. My buddy Chuck got a silver ring in the same area the next day. He said the cut wasn't as deep though when he found it.
It sure was nice meeting all of you in Daytona. I look forward to our next meeting.
