Finally saved enough to get my long awaited E Trac. After a year and a half of having my "E" money used for vacations, emergencies and project shortages I have decided that's enough! and am going to order one up tomorrow. I'm finding a pretty decent package out of the Windy City and will probably put my trust in a far away dealer. ( can I say that?) I love my kids but they work a hole though the bottom line know what I mean?
Ill miss my EX II but after reading your posts for so long I am certain of what I want to use thanks to the Finds T Forum. I might even miss Bryce and his tye dyed shirt on the Explorer Forum but I have a gut feeling hill be taken a switch in the not to distant.

I thought I read a post where he was using a E-Trac and had fun with it??. ooh well, Congrats on the save up and you will love this machine. Welcome to the dark side lol.

HH and good luck!

Best of luck with your new E-trac!

I wish you all the success with your new machine when you get it.

Your Exp. II is an awesome machine. I know a few guys here in CA who were long time users of the Exp. II, and they wanted to upgrade to the E-Trac. After using the E-Trac for a month or two, they realized they preferred their Exp. II's, and ended up selling their E-Tracs. I also know guys who bought E-Tracs and were completely happy with them, even though they were hardcore Explorer users. I know the desire of wanting a new, latest technology Minelab really helps in the $1500 purchase decision. And more importantly, it's a definite confidence booster to have a new machine, which in itself, will make you hunt longer/harder and end up with the finds you know must still be hiding in the dirt.

Good luck!!

Hi Utah------Congrats on your decision for the purchase of a "soon to be acquired" Etrac.---You'll never regret it!---I know what you mean about thinking you will miss the Explorer 2.---I was in the same boat when I traded off my "old sweetheart" EX 2.---I've had 'em all & the EX 2 was my favorite till the Etrac came along but believe me, you aren't going to want to look back after you have a few hours on the Etrac.----------Del
