Found these of late. Coin is a CT draped bust copper 1787, pewter spoon 1810ish, colonial pewter keg tap, boot plate is mid 1800s, the shoe buckle is 1770-90. Thanks for looking.

Very nice! Beats the heck out of the pennies (new) I find here in Wisconsin. If I may ask, are you out east? How deep do you find relics like that?

Bob

Thank you Jack and Bob. I live in northeast CT. Lots of history here. The buckel was under a rock at 5 inches. I think the rock kept it in such nice condition. Same thing with the spoon. The deepest was the colonial keyhole cover. That was 8 inches. The draped bust was at the bottom of a slope (wish it were on the slope,it would've kept better) at 6 inch. Others were at about 4 inches. I have a nice relic collection going but I've only managed to find 1 silver coin..and I'm older than it. :)

Really nice. Great finds. What a collection of flat buttons. Way to pull out some of that NE history. I love that shoe buckle. I'm sure there is a bit more silver there. Stay on that spot and keep it a secret. Thanks for posting. CCH
