Been hunting out a couple of County fair parking lots

With the Deep Vista X. Strictly analog hunting. What a mess. There is just about anything burried in them lots. Smashed cans are easy. Just raise your coil.
The X has iron discrimination, so no trouble there. Plenty of Clad change even though these lots have been hunted over the years. Number one pain in the wrist, the old beaver tail pull tab. (Had to get some advice from Keith Sutherland) on distinguishing them from nickels by using reverse discrimination.
The X has two dials for discrimination. And I got to tell you having this on a analog machine sure makes hunting a lot better. Anyway between the 2 sites, about 400 plus coins for close to 50 bucks in change. No place is ever completely hunted out but I'm definitely done with these two. Time to move on.

Got to make a correction on Keith's last name. (Southerland) A very knowledgeable man.

Keith Southern is correct. Sorry to correct you. He sure does like his DeepTech units and has put in 100+ hours on his Vista X.
He is a wealth of knowledge, you can always learn something from his posts.

Having two disc controls and the ability to set the low and high tones break point on each separately is a superb feature.
Switching between the two disc controls via a single toggle switch under the box works very well to help identify a target.

The Vista X is a truly wonder performing metal detector.
