Went to Arky land for a few days to visit some folks and had an appointment with the Railroad Retirement Board in Little Rock. Will be getting a few more bux starting September. Sure will help with these high prices of gasoline. Made it back in time to do some water hunting on the weekend. Seems to be a lot more people hitting the water around here this year. Didn't get any gold but did get one old silver ring with a blue stone in it. It was in the sand so long the stone has been sanded and is not clear. One adjustable ring is marked 925 on the shank bit I consider it a junker as looks like the stones are plastic. Anyone ever hear of an AVON ring with diamonds. Jerry found a nugget style ring marked AVON and the 3 small stones test good as diamonds. It appears to be gold but has no marks other than AVON. I also spotted a football field being retired at an old school last week. We hit that in this heat because don't know how long the window of opportunity will be open. We had found a couple of gold rings there before. I did get a small ankle chain which is gold from where the bleachers were. Got about 4.00 in quarters and a few dimes and nickels. Hope all had a great weekend.

doing good ! I would think that Avon would have some valuable rings at the top of the gift chain. I have seen them stamped karat so maybe yours isnt gold.

Congrats on the goodies! I think it is Moisenite (SP)? that is very similar to diamonds on a tester, and is hard to figure out as a non-diamond. (I think) Yes I think Avon put some low quality cheap diamonds in some of their jewelry. Take care buddy!
