THANKS for the great videos Royal. Ya have some strange mushrooms up there. Puff Balls look weird when you squeezed it. Must of been the seeds or pollinating dust.

that dang hole grabbed my front tires and would not let me steer the thing. We were way the hell out in the boonies and I don't know how the hell we would have even told any one how to find us. We got lucky First dumb thing I ever did, I think

how flat the land is up your way and rock free. Not the case here for sure. Glaciers might of dumped all your stones on us...LOL...You can have them back if you want them. I will do a similar video and show you some of the woods trails here.
Your color is more advanced than ours is for sure. The birch and maple here have changed but not much else yet. Once good cold snap will speed that process up. Lakes there are sure nice. How long ago was that area logged off?

they are doing it again in many places. Yes, compared to your area this is mighty flat. Lots of lakes. Minnesota is called the land of 10000 lakes but Michigan has over 11000. In Oakland County, where I was born, there are over 425 natural lakes. It is too built up for me down there. We have lots of lakes up here.

The color is not quite there yet. we went out for a two and a half hour hike along the river today and it was just beautiful. Kayaking tomorrow

have to be white inside to be eaten. That one has turned to spoors. I have seen huge ones. I had a picture of my daughter holding one years ago that weighed six and a half pounds! That was the biggest I have ever seen though.

Still blows my mind you can eat mushrooms from the wild up there. We have all kinds of mushrooms down here and all my life been told not to eat them. Then there are the ones that grows on fresh cow paddies, they will put a person in orbit. See a lot of the ones growing on the trees, they will be yellow and orange, then threes one kind that will pop up in the front yard over night that get real big in a couple of days. then if you go by an kick it a dust like powder will fly off it. Honey mushrooms do you cook with them, or just eat them fresh picked. I cook with a lot of mushrooms from the store, love the flavor they give food, my youngest will just open a jar an eat them like that. She would be in heaven up there, walk out and pick her snacks.
