Huntress and I went for a long spin on Monday the 6th. We began at a new surf area, we had never been to and were hunting into a 429P -0.6L and S winds at 5-10. We were in the surf at the 1st location, with the Excals at 1215P and hunted till 140P and bailed, with empty pouches, except for pull-tabs! Next area we tried was better. I got out the GQA2 and went to work, as conditions were a bit sanded in. Hunted this stretch of surf from 245P-405P and got around $.47 in clad and a nice .925 bracelet chain. We relocated again and the next spot was kinda lame too, with about $.26 from 410P-520P. We moved again and had a shut out from 525P-615P. The total nut from these combined hunts can be seen, from the bracelet north.

Again, we moved to another area and were in the water by 630P, I got out the Excal and went to work. Targets of density were moderately more plentiful here, so I worked an area, that seemed to have some promise. Clad count at this final location was $1.25 and of course the prize! The total nut from this location, can be seen south of the bracelet. A .417 fine yellow gold "NIKE" ring!

I was MIGHTY PROUD to see it! The last gold ring, that came to this pirates hand, was 07-15! There has been a heck of a lot of bottom crossed, since that day! Ready for the roll!
