It's been a strange week. I started out earlier in the week going to 2 different beaches, covered with ice. Not good. My third beach allowed me to hunt in the water in some areas. The beach sand was mostly exposed, so I also hunted it.

Here are the finds from the week. No rings, just coins.

I did however get some silvers and an older penny.

Because I am on a ring drought, I made a couple out of some 1955 quarters, which are about 80% silver. They are for my Nursing unit manager, who is retiring next week.

Those rings are cool as heck! I'd like to know how you do that sometime.
And that first pic looks like it was taken in the Arctic Circle, lol. Glad you're getting out and finding stuff!

You really have some cold crusty weather for this late in 2014. Yeah, I'm with mud, your rings are really desirable. One of your rings would make a great contest prize ...I'm needing a 7 1/2 LOL!

Nice cold water hunts. Still 3 feet of rotten ice on the lakes here.

You sure get extra credit for determination! Glad you got some silver for your trouble, and those rings are bound to be a big hit with your co-worker! It's in the low 80s here, but we're getting the dry, windy conditions like CA, and already have a wildfire burning about 10 mi NE of here. I guess there's always something- tornadoes in the plains, 200 year floods in Croatia, still snowing in parts of the NE, sheesh! :drinking:

You have the knack of turning the ring so CANADA is right where you want it. BEAUTIFUL art work, you have so many tallents.
I have watched several videos on You Tube and read articles on how to make on, but had no real desire to make one.
Maybe I'll try making one when I get snowed in next winter...
