there will be mostly beginning detectorists ... couples, almost all in their 20's and 30's ... no one but me with any real detecting experience.

... should I use the MXT with a 1400DD or just the stock 9.5" concentric coil. The conditions will be dry sand, nothing too deeply planted. I really don't want to take advantage of the newbies. Should I go ahead and use the top of the line stuff like the MXT or just go with a PRIZM II with an 8" coil and just enjoy the hunt?

Please advise what you would do if it was you who was invited?
