Beauty and the Beak ~ might be a slow loader but worth the watch....

see what he's missing and feed him soft foods.
Like raw fish.

i aint in no way any kind o' tree hugger.
A lot o' wild animals have there place ............
Right next to the mashed taters and sautee'd asparagus.:D

Nature can take care of itself.
Allways has and allways will, as long as humans leave it alone.
Extinction allways has and allways will be apart o' life.

I could go a step further and rant about how much was spent on that bird ?
And many other wild animals in similar situations that are better off dead ?
While Veterans in this country go without what they DESERVE ?

But i won't.

If the Eagle had not been shot, it wouldn't be in this condition, however, in nature, sometimes beaks have been damaged or malformed. If it had not been found, it would have starved to death anyway. I also am a hunter, have been for years. I have never been a "tree hugger" either. Maybe the person who found it wounded should have killed it mercifully, I have done this a few times myself to wounded creatures who could not survive. But if this eagle can survive in captivity and be used as a tool to teach others about them, then maybe some unthinking person won't do something like this again and destroy a majestic creature un-necessarily. So let's just agree to disagree on this point and move on to other adventures that maybe we can enjoy and agree on.:beers:
