I never paid much attention to the flutes made and played by the American Indian until I became a member of this Forum and discoverd that a member had a hobby of making American Indian flutes. While doing some research on the Internet, I came across this musical video slide show of an American Indian playing the flute...beautiful music. Kelley (Texas) :)

west. I have a couple of CD's in the car of it. Very relaxing music. While out there we got to attend 2 Lakota Indian Events, one at Crazy Horse and another. Really enjoyed them. The music and their dancing with all the feathered dress was impressive. While at Bryce Canyon in Utah, we saw another and with the setting and all that they do, it was the first time I felt the saying It would take your breath away... I really did. Here is one I have on my Facebook account. Its mixed with American Indian....But really beautiful, at least to me...... Native American Music

In the recent past, I spent some time on eBay with the intent of buying one, but got confused. From time to time, I will research the Indian Flute on the Internet and end up listening to the music...beautiful music. I have a friend up in Kingsland, Texas that has a couple of old flutes stuck away in a closet with some other Indian relics and I think that I will try to talk him into a trade for one of them. Debbie and I are going to Kingsland in September to visit an aunt and I usually visit him at the same time. I am going to check them out and if they work, try to trade him something for them or just buy them if he is in the mood to get rid of one or both. I do not know the history about when or where he got them, but I can remember him having them at least thirty years ago when I first saw them in a box in his closet. He just might turn loose of them because he is not big into collecting Indian relics..This should be interesting. Kelley (Texas) :)

This music reaches deep down inside you and touches something primal as if hearing the first stirrings of the universe!

Thanks Fred,
