Beautiful Civil War medal..

My buddy Ken Weinman ( the writer ) found this medal in the scrap gold box at a Silver & Gold store. He picked it up for a song, researched it and found out it had been presented to a famous CW officer by Teddy Roosevelt. Then my buddy had it restored and sold it for $12,500. The medal is all 14 KT gold with seven diamonds and a ruby. A beautiful piece.
