Beat the locals at their own game, Oh Rosie Oh Girl
I pulled in front of a park here in Huntington Beach and I saw a guy getting out. Something about him told me he was a detectorist, he was. We agreed to split the playgrounds, 1 each. After he was done we started BSing. All of a sudden I look over and there is another detectorist. The first one left and I told the second one that the playground had already been hit. He said I might as well tell my wife. She was working the playground also. After they left, I started working the grass and PULLED OUT A 1960 d Rosie. Some just want to work the easy stuff. I went to some other parks also. I found a 12 coin spill for $1.25. Total haul was 47 coins for $3.85 and two Century Theatre tokens. That was my last hunt down here, we go home tomorrow. I
 
I think I would have stayed down there just for the volley ball game.. Then again, I'm single and you are attached. :devil:
