Well hunted the old abandon Fair grounds today that has been hammered hard . Found a few Clad coins and this Mardigras token , Was really surprised when I dut the token thought for a minute I had a silver dollar but excitement didn't last very long . But still happy with the token . Not sure what year but think it is 1983 it says 1983 on one side and 1968 on the other side . has a couple nicks in one side must of tangled with a lawn mower .

Glad you got to hunt Harold. Sorry that token didn't turn out to be a silver dollar for you. I'll bet that got your heart pumping for a second. Still a cool find to pull out though.

Cool token! To date i have found 2 mardigras tokens. Your token is different than the two i have found. One has a picture of Billy Crystal and the other is Dennis Quade. Both are aluminum and painted purple.
