Bearharolds finds for 10/7/10

Well I got out for a couple hours today was 75 here but hot in the sun so two hours was about it for this old guy . Did have a couple finds that was better than usual for me . I got one silver Mercury dime its 1935 and got my first sheriff badge today it has something missing from the center of it in the front and the pin in the bad is broke off . All these targets were dug in the dirt no tot lot finds today I never made it around to it still finding these targets in a grassy parking area at a old baseball field. enjoy

Still on my nickle drought Nancy but will take silver dimes instead any day ..lol

Good finds Harold. What size is the badge? I see where it use to have something round in the center. Too bad it wasn't there too. I like the Merc. time also, but so sorry about not finding any nickels. Maybe we got them all last week. ;) Thanks for posting and HH, Nancy
 
Nancy the badge was about the size of a half dollar made out of tin .lol
 
It was probably a Junior Patrol badge then. COOL! I've found a couple of them and I'll have to see if I can find a picture. HH, Nancy

Good hunt and Nice JOB ; especially with the Mercury Dime. I tried to hunt yesterday but its just so dog gone DRY from a lack of rainfall that we just cant DIG down here in my part of the counrty without extreme difficulty. :rant: I gave it a shot for about an hour but diggin in "CONCRETE" like dirt is no fun. Someone do a rain dance :help: CCH
