Bearharold found some small relics today

Today I dug around in a yard of a old empty yard I hadn't hunted before and found a couple old cool looking items while there . Also dug a 1945 penny was 7 inches deep . the flat thing looks like a key flob or something like that has a bullet hole thru it also .
The fob says on one side and has a baseball player on the other side don't know how they relate ..
Standard
Varnish Wax
( The Brand ) Elastick
Floor Finish
Ends All
Floor
Troubles

I also found some kind of stick pin with the fastner on the back missing . Its says World History not sure what the pin was for but have found some cub scout tie slides in the same area I found it in...

Really neat finds Harold. I sure like that old watch fob. That's something. I've never heard of Elastick floor finish, but I'm just a young whipper-snapper. Boy do I remember having to wax floors and then getting on your hands and knees with a knife of sorts to get the build up off. It's never heard of now. Good finds! HH, Nancy

Well I located the watch fob on e-bay its worth a little more than I thought . But mine is in poor shape and doesn't have the strap on it mine also has a bullet hole in it . lol just my luck . also the word on the back is Elastica not Elastick like I first posted mine has a bullet hole where the A is '

Holy Cow! That's so cool to find one even though it's been in the dirt all these years and shows it's battle scares. Good going! HH, Nancy

I think the bullet hole ADDS to it's value. JMHO. Cool finds !

I'd clean it up a little and put it on ebay as is and see how far it goes.
Even if you only got $150 or $200 thats not bad for a day of metal detecting.
I'd add a little write up about how and where you found it just to make in interesting.
The on on Ebay in good shape is $450. I bet you could make a few bucks on this one.
Heck, even if the final bit was $50 to $100 thats not bad. I wish I found something good enough to
put on Ebay.

Love that watch fob. It is so neat to find something like that. I call those items, my special ones, and I keep them in a display case. Too special to sell..
