Beanfield Finds

Active member
Two days of hunting in a newly picked bean field. Found the large cent yesterday and the rest today. Digging in the rock hard ground was a real chore.

Very nice, Jim!

Nice all 'round selection, but I really like the condition of the LC and the seated...

Might be rock hard ground but the soil has been good to the largie and IHP Jim! Silver seems to hold its own very well in turf but almost all of my copper is a serious mess. With those finds, heck...I might just go hunt it again!:smoke:

Nice 160+ years of coinage you found! Our beans are still up here in MO, but they have the corn cut (mostly).

Great finds Jim,I hunt a lot of Bean Fields myself,I start hunting the fields
around the first of Dec.thats when they cut most of them out.I hate that stubble
though. My Minelab gets them coins pretty deep.
