Bean field gives up my first 1700`s

Same story, hit the field for an all day hunt with my dad. Things are really slowing down. The farmer mowed the ditches which exposed a little new ground. I hit it & out pops this "Hammered" 1777 1/2 Reale. The reason it is "Hammered" is because the coin was bent "L" shaped, so I got a block of wood & hammered it flat again. A wore out wheatie, 1903 IH, some flat buttons, & a flower button were the rest of the total. I used my 5 in. hockey puck in the heavy iron area to pull the IH & buttons. I`m sure there is alot left in the ol field but the iron is covering it up. The hockey puck will get a few more I think, Enjoy & Good Luck.

Nice finds Darren. You might also try the 10.5 coil for a little more depth, and it's "wrap-around" ability.

Good hunting,
OldeTymer
