Beachs that allow auto parking ?

Never hunted one, nor have I ever read about anyone else either. I bet someone has had some good hunts at these beaches. I just seen a news clip of a beach that was crowded with people and a long line of cars. Man, talk of double the areas to hunt the sand.

I have fond memories of childhood vacations that included parking on Daytona Beach. Anyone know if they still allow parking on the beach there?

I live in Daytona Beach, the good finds are few and far inbetween but yes, the cars do help with adding more goodies to our beaches. They park and often people drop things in the sand when they first get out of their cars. The city is slowly gobbling up driveable areas it seems, the people are up and arms over it and working on stopping it.

No, they take a more subtle approach now, the lifeguards drive up and down the beach around 30 minutes prior to sunset and warn you on the bullhorn in advance to get off the beach, if that doesn't work the tow trucks come in.

I remember my dad helping to push stuck cars out of the loose sand at least a couple of times a day back then.
