Any suggestions on how to keep the coil from floating. I thought White's had a weighted coil, but a call to the factory verified that they did not.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Don

Use the strap where your arm rest is and put downward pressure on the coil...I do the same thing with my PI PRO

on our P.I. Pros. Depends if you're working the damp, or in the water. The unweighted coil can give loud signals when water passes over the coil. Usually very reasonable fee to send to factory to change coil.

Hello,

I have a Surfmaster PI Pro. You can't exchange heads between the two. One is a PI the other one a VLF, they have different coil windings...

Cheers

Luca

We have six of the P.I. Pros. We also have had an extra resistor put on the circuit board for extra high sound. (Hubby worked at LAX for over thirty years, and hearing is gone.)
