Beachhunter ID ???

Looking at one for saltwater/fresh, Anybody have some input good or bad??

If your looking for something versatile enough for fresh/salt water and dry land that would be my detector of choice (especially the new model with the super 12 coil).

So they have a bad switch?? Also is the "new machine" just a bigger coil? What about this gasket problem?

Some of the older ones had a bad switch, but that was corrected along with the leaking gasket. The black ones leaked and the red ones are fine. It's a great machine

I have seen resent posts with bad detectors coming from all major brands that's why they have lemon laws for cars

Its easy to find people complaining about something [ some for good reason ] its human nature

If things are good how many times do we say we like it

I just bought a Surf PI Dual Field. Very nice. Very easy to use right out of the box. Only problem was sand build up in the shaft, while wading the surf line. Pain in th A$$ to separate and clean after use.

n/t

I had one regret selling it works great on land as well as in salt and fresh water. I had now problems the hole time i had it .I found a 50 to 100 year old pocket watch on land under a huge oak tree. I also found a 1900 Barber dime under an Oak down about 3 inches . found Lot of change as well. sold it to get a M6 Great detector the more I use it the better I like it.

My opining scale 1 to 10 I give it a 9.5 also easy to learn
