beachhunter i.d. problem

I tried takin my bhid out in waist deep water the other day for the first time, and the coil wants to float to the top very bad. What's the fix here? I tried zip tying a sock full of rocks to the shaft and it doesnt' float anymore but it is VERY heavy now.

it should be easy to hold the coil down when swinging..if its truely too hard to hold down fill the lower shaft with very fine sand then melt some wax on top of it to keep it in lower shaft..you can adj weight by adding/removing sand..good luck
