Don't know where to post this.
Went down our local beach in Cornwall yesterday.
Loads of deep holes left unfilled all over the beach, it was very busy as the sun was out with loads of small children running around.
If we don't fill in our diggings we will be stopped from detecting on the beaches all together.

I dont disagree..... but it is odd how someone can show up with a shovel and dig a hole up to his neck and leave and NO ONE complains. But let us dig ours and not cover them up all heck breaks loose... even thou after a few min. you cant even tell they were dug holes and not foot prints. I also think we are our own worst enemy as we bring light to those not meeting our ethic standards. Those in charge also find it easy to post no detecting signs rather than explain it to their bosses since it doesnt affect them one way or the other.
