Beaches of Lake Michigan?

Has anyone here metal detected the beaches of lake Michigan?
I have come across some more articles about the Indiana Copper
culture there. This would be a greeat placew to start swinging the ATA Pro and
AT Gold. CHeck this out.

Check out Chicago Ron's website and youtube vids. He and his partners do a lot of Lake Michigan hunting in the Chicago area and have found mucho gold and silver
 
I found this about 50 yards from the shore of Lake Michigan in Escanaba. 3000-5000 yer old copper celt from the old copper complex. Sold it to a museum.
