Beach

The Safari is great in wet salt sand and shallow water -- runs smooth and deep. Use manual sensitivity and keep going higher until it starts to false, then back down one.
 
I agree, the safari does well on the beach, you gotta ground balance when going from wet to dry. You also don't want to get the control box wet, keep the coil facing down at all times and clean and dry coil and shafts after use. Get a rain cover if you don't have one. also remove and clean coil cover, sand gets in it and could cause possible falsing. the Safari picks up deep stuff, watch the sensitivities. good luck...
