Beach Settings???????

Going to the Beach this summer with the family. I have the F75 and an Explorer SE. I know the SE is killer in wet sand but I want to take the F75 for others in the family to use. I know that the manual states that it is not intended for use in these conditions, but has anyone discovered the "magic combination" of settings for the F75 in wet sand?

There's no doubt in my mind it would be fearsome in the dry sand. I have a theory that with a little perseverance and a whole lotta foil/tab diggin' it will find the teeny tiny gold the multi-freqs miss. I plan to take it with me on my family vacation in July or August. I know beaches north to south vary greatly in how mild they are black sand wise, so it may even perform decently in the wet although it not its design.

It took a bit of experimentation...I think I settled on BC process, and sensitivity around 50-60. Can't say how bad with black sand or salty my ocean is, but it does "work"....I pulled alot of clad out the one time I tried it, including a deep quarter @ low tide.
I agree that I think in dry sand the F75 will be killer as it's so hot on gold.....

I think your beaches up north have even more black sand than they do down here in NC/SC (Mr. Bill, correct me if I'm wrong). I've used a single frequency water machine at Carolin Beach and it did pretty well. I bet the 75 would clobber small gold chains and ear rings... and those tiny gold bands that generally have the nice fat diamonds! :)
