Hi again
Ho hum another day another ring - this time a small 9ct one helpfully marked CZ to identify the stones. I don't know why they bother as diamonds that small would be just as worthless as CZs!

Deep in the black sand of same cut as the ring I found an RFC (Royal Flying Corps) cap badge from WW1. This date is reasonably certain as the RFC ony existed between 1912 and 1918 and the General Service button and .303 ammunition dated 1918 were found nearby. I am very pleased with this badge as I enjoy finding military relics and this is a real piece of military aviation history.

I hope you all have a good Easter
