Hi anyone live on or close to the beaches? Is spring braker's starting yet? Is anyone finding anything good? I want to go to the beach but I would like it if they were packed. Dose anyone have the beach camera web that show the beaches ? I think there use to be a site that you could look at the beach and see people there. Thanks a lot for info.

4) just run any search for XXXXX beach webcam; tons of them out there

I do. Some beaches have web cams..... do a search for the beach u want to hunt. Most beaches are still crowded on the weekends..... but spring break is basiclly over. Best bet is early in the AM.... its a pain to hunt around people. U dry sand hunting? A beach with a history of being busy is always a good beat.
 
I live about 30 or so miles from 3 different island beaches. During the Summer I try to be on the beach when the sun comes peaking up out of the ocean. I detect until the beach starts to get crowded and I quit and come home. You can not adequately detect on a crowded beach.

Spring Break is over and done. But the tourist season is improving. During the summer I do not go to the beaches on the weekend as they are just too crowded.

Beaches around me are very crowded on weekends but the water is around 65, so a bit too cold for most people - wilmington nc. Kids are in though. Its just going to keep picking up until memorial day with summer gets in full gear. weekdays are even somewhat crowded at the main spots at this point.

I am not really finding anything good. winter storms are gone and beaches are getting sanded. i did find .26 today in about an hour.

There are tons of beach cams for many popular beaches depending where you are going.
