I am planning to do more detecting on the beach. Right now I have a sovereign XS2. I can trade it against a c scope cs6pi and a compass goldscanner [12 inch coil].

It it worth to think about this, or is the minelab the perfect allrounder?

If you're not planning on becoming a surf pirate then stick with the Sov., you can't go wrong with that unit in the wet and dry sand.
