beach machine question

I'm saving to add another beach machine. Thinking of the ctx with 17" coil or atx with standard coil. Anyone compare these? My main goal is depth. I dig it all on the beach. Trying to decide which machine would complement my Excals. Thanks John
 
IF you dig everything and plan on continuing, why would you even consider the CTX?

Was thinking the ctx with 17" coil would go deeper than my Excal with 10" coil. I dig everthing the Excal doesn't null on.
 
The ATX will not null on iron so if you get one of them AND continue to dig everything, you will spend more time on iron targets then on non ferrous targets which is what you are basically doing now..... I have both machines and the ATX rarely gets used because I only have so many deep holes per hunt in me....I'd rather have a better idea what I'm digging.....PM me if you would like a killer deal on an ATX!
