Beach Hunting

Heading down to Orange Beach / Gulf Shores in a few weeks. Have a house right on the beach...any suggestions or thoughts on how to go about hunting there? This is the first time I have been able to do any MDing at the beach...always inland. I'll be using my Fisher ID Edge. Also, any help on set-up would be appreciated!!
