Beach Hunting

beach hunted for my first time for a week in July... Outer Banks, NC

few tips.....

-get a good sand scoop
-make sure the beach you are detecting on allows it. Outer Banks has beaches off limits and they take your detector and fine you.
-react fast when in the water at all. sand fills holes fast!
-don't forget to ground balance.
-take sunscreen. time flies by fast!
-have fun!

Yeah, what GVG said...and take some bug dope too...if there are flys around like over here, they drive you plumb nuts somedays biting. Good Luck!
Mud

Run it in the At mode. This is the one time I run sensitivity as high as I can and swing the big coil on the F70. Your digging in the sand, it is easy to dig everything. Good luck Rob and looking forward to seeing your finds....Z
