Beach Hunting

Going beach hunting for the first time. Wish me luck. Don't know much about it..beach hunted for my first time for a week in July... Outer Banks, NC
few tips.....
-get a good sand scoop
-make sure the beach you are detecting on allows it. Outer Banks has beaches off limits and they take your detector and fine you.
-react fast when in the water at all. sand fills holes fast!
-don't forget to ground balance.
-take sunscreen. time flies by fast!
-have fun!
