Beach Hunting

crabby

New member
I'll be in North Myrtle Beach next week and I have question:

Standing on the dry sand and facing the water, how far can I walk towards the ocean before interference interrupts my hunting. Semi wet sand? Wet sand?

I'm using a White's MXT

Don't know about that beach, sometimes i take my mxt with the 12" couil to the beach
And hunt in the wet sand ok. Depends on the type of sand, but falses really bad in the water.

Just adjust the sensitivity down as needed to eliminate the falsing.

Adjust the sensitivity.... and grown balance on the damp sand helps some.
