Beach Hunting Question ???

I live in Kentucky but when I go to the beach on vacation I am not sure I am picking the best areas of the beach to search. In the past I would watch where most of the people would lay out their towels and blankets, then hunt those areas later that evening or early the next morning. I would end up finding a fair amount of clad coins and keys but no jewelry. Is there a better chance of finding jewelry at the water's edge at low tide? I would like some suggestions as to where to hunt on the beach so that I don't spend most of my vacation looking in the wrong areas. Thanks, Sam B.

Sam,hit the beach about 2 hours or so before low tide and keep working the waters edge as the tide goes out until it gets low and then work it for 2 hours till the tide is back up to where you started.that area is usually more productive for gold than the dry sand.try using andy sabisch`s gold program.youll spend less time digging clads but youll still pull tabs and have a good chance for gold.good luck,Ralph
