Beach hunting Omaha ???

Willee - Texas

Well-known member
Well it looks like I will be working in the Omaha NE area for the next few months.
Would like to do some metal detecting there but dont really know the area.
Gonna need to search the maps on the internet for parks and schools and such.

Leaving 70 deg weather and lots of sandy beaches here in Corpus Christi Texas.
See the Omaha forecast for this weekend is snow!
Guess I can leave my beach and water detectors at home this trip.
Perhaps I will do like John up in Canada and look for the hills that people sled down.
Hope there are some places like that there.

Returning sometime late April or early May so I might stop at some places on the way home just to poke around a bit.
Get back home just in time for the summer beach season there.

I live in the omaha area.Have been detecting for 6 yrs. in the area. I can show you areas at the river that always produce.know the parks and such,as well as the ones to stay away from.( Ones in the crime ridden areas.) Get a hold of me before you come, don't want to see you get robbed or anthing. Almost hapened to me a few years ago. Also I am a local history buff.Shootings are common here, sad but true.
