New member
Hey guys an girls...I'm a newbie on beaches...I have been on some of them but never found too much...I have been reading a lot here on beach hunting
and am really inpressed on things you find...I live in Mo, but wil be coming to the east coast in December around the St. augustine-Jacksonville area for a month or so..
I have a Quattro and anxious to use it own there...Anyone walk those beachs???I'd like to get with someone there to hunt with and get some guidance..Give me a PM if
want...Or talk to me on here, thats fine...Im a 68 yr old ol fart but still like to get dirty..Bud

I live in the area and try to hit the beaches every weekend if I can get away for a few hours. There are a number of MDers I see around, but lately I have only seen one other gentleman on the weekends. Continually find coins, so the jewelry has to be there somewhere - I just keep looking for it. I have picked 2 gold this year off the beach. I think the area that gets hit the hardest is just south of the pier out in front of the lifeguard area. Just hit the low tide and hunt a trough or two, you are bound to find something. Shoot me a PM and maybe we can hook up at the beach while you are in town.

Your Quattro will do fine on the salt water beaches and even out in knee deep water.
The FBS technology is ideal for salt water beaches wet or dry.
Just watch raising the coil higher than the control box after it has been in water.
Water can run down the inside of the rod and into the control housing if you do.

You will need a sand scoop with a long handle.

I hunt a lil S. of there, sanded in, even up in J-Ville it looked that way when I was up at a wedding 2 months ago. I still find gold, look for the lower areas, and rember if ya don't get your coil over it ya won't find it...
