?? Beach Hunting F-70 Elliptical Coil??

Since you are a Michigan guy fresh water inland beaches are probably your focus? Well, two schools of thought on this subject, probably more, but basically theres the "low and slow grid" and the "high and fast random"..L&S is for deep old targets, or a beach you find that nobody else has yet...H&F is for fresh shallow drops. You can swing that F70 pretty fast, so lengthen the shaft to full max, sort of crouch down for a longer sweep, and smoke jump from every cooler track, towel mark, trail to and from the beach, high sand slopes, and off to the side of the main beach private spots...get the lightest long handle beach sand scoop available, mines a 5" basket, aluminum, you will not be digging, you will be "chopping" at signals as if you were swinging an axe one handed. General settings apply, tones are important, you want to hear foil...little foil, like in the 21 -29 range...you will not miss a little ring. You want to key on the zinc and lower signals too....the Q's, D's, and silver will really pop when you run over them.nasty signals are likely coin spills, jewelry, etc...get there early before sunup, take something to eat or some orange juice in your vehicle, because you will get slap wornt out working dry sand for miles like we do over here on the Big Lake. Its a brutal, grinding excersize, much like those crab fishermen on TV, just a grind day after day, mile after empty beepless mile with little to no results, and the flys come out at sunup and tear you a new one! Then, one day,...BAM!

Go barefoot where you can, work the shallow water when possible, DO NOT get your control box wet, DO NOT tip your detector upside down with water inside the shaft, or you will flood your control box...you will find lots of car keys and cell phones with possible rewards. I cant wait for this beach season to end...its just awful! You should try it!
