Beach hunting advice needed

Hi Everyone,
I am going to San Diego soon for vacation. Would like to hunt the beach. I am fairly new to the Explorer and would appreciate any hints as to settings that should be used and how to hunt a beach. Should I hunt at low tide, close to the water, where the people are etc.? Never hunted a beach before so I need a lot of help!!! Thanks.
Darryl

I don't hunt any beaches except on vacation too. But, they say at low tide down near the water. Make sure no water gets near the control box area because it is NOT waterproof. I'd also recommend wiping your Explorer down once you're done.

I have had good luck up on the dry sand-prior yrs. I have hunted with a whites xlt-This years I have an explorer XS-Be sure and hunt around any lifeguard stands, volley ball courts, and where the access to the beaches are-Good luck and keep us posted-virginia hunter
