Got out for a few hours today with Water Wizard after a short lay off and managed to find 6 rings,2 gold,1 platinum and 3 silver. Also had a good few coins along with the usual trash items.A great few hours, good finds and great company.....cheers WW.

Now THAT is gonna be tough to beat! A six ring day with Gold Plat and Silver on the same hunt!...thats a grand SLAM! Really great work there mate!:please:

I assume you work pretty fast? either on target retrieval or reading a location or something?...you seem to get a lot of targets in a short time, so you have some sort of method or thought process going on for sure..

A guy cant pull that amount of targets in a few hours beach hunting UNLESS he's figured out some time management hunting system..well? Are you a quick digger, quick hunter,or strategic hot spot locator? All three I imagine...but dish with your style or secret if you please!:beers:
Mud.

Hi Mud,
I'm very familiar with the particular beach I hunt and I know which areas produce.I tend to pick an area and concentrate on it, going up and down the area in tight lines with accurate coverage.I see many detectorists working an area and then walking off to another area and then another.I tend to work a single area each time I hunt and do it accurately which tends to work better than just wondering all over the beach.
I put a lot of hours in on the beach initially just walking up and down and noting where most of the targets were coming up.
I've had nearly thirty rings off the same beach since the beginning of january up until now, three good bracelets and quite a few earings.I've also had loads of money too.The advantage we have over here is the water temprature,it's quite cold even in the summer so more people lose their jewelry. There are four of us that detect the beach on a regular basis and one chap who is retired and puts in a lot of hours has had a lot more than I have this year.....in one session he pulled eight gold rings out of a relatively small area.We are lucky to have such a productive beach......there are many more rings to be had and each tide keeps bringing them up.
All the best,neil.
Ps,when ya comin.:bouncy:

WTG on a great day at the beach. I've never found a platinum ring yet, but it's on my wish list. You & WW are on a roll.
