beach finds on galveston island with odd twist

TRIPLE-SSS

Well-known member
I recently went to the beach and found $6.45 in coins. I spend approx. 3.5 hours in the early morning hours . The last hour of my time was detecting the parking spaces provided for the public. I managed to dig most of my finds in the parking area instead of the beach. Is this a fluke or is it better to focus in these areas? This is only my third time detecting . I'm just a rookie beginner and was wandering if anybody out there has had a similar experience like me?.
My finds ;
11quarters
12 dimes
5 nickles
rest are pennies
a watch a cheepie timex
2 sets of keys
1 solid silver bracelet
2 sinkers
stopped counting the flip tops

Certain areas of public places may or may not have activity but the parking lots of those places always do. People always digging into their pockets for keys and such. Getting into and out of their vehicles dragging items in and out. Always worth swinging them if chance available.:detecting:
